This site is a tribute to Janet Morris, who was born in 1948 in Shropshire the eldest of 3 daughters.
She worked as a primary teacher and loved being with children; her infectious laugh was loved and remembered by many previous pupils, colleagues, her niece and nephew and numerous other family and friends!
Forever sociable with a wide circle of friends and second to none at maintaining contact over decades. Always interested in others and in acquiring new information particularly historical! Janet loved a cup of tea and cream cake at any and every conceivable oppportunity.
Janet was a member of St Luke's Church (Cranham) and was involved with her house group, the coffee rota, Sunbeams pre-school group and CAP. This was integral to her life, especially the many friends she made there.
Her strong faith sustained her through her recent illness in addition to the love that surrounded her from her family, and many, many friends. The daily cards, letters and text messages which arrived whilst she was in hospital and the hospice were testament to the deep affection and love felt for Janet.
We will all miss you deeply X
Farewell Janet. I enjoyed our long friendship. Such a pity it had to end.
In memory of a beloved friend. There are many memories I will cherish and hold dear to my heart. When I see sunflowers I’ll think of you. I will miss you dearly, and loved you lots. Always, Brody xx
Janet... happy and cheerful when we met up, and always so genuinely interested in our news. We will miss you.
