I loved working in the same year group as Janet in my first year of teaching, not only was she someone I could get tips from, she helped me settle and made me feel welcome. When my mum was ill she always had a listening ear and a cuppa and slice of cake to make things better. My children loved to visit Auntie Janet and I will never forget our trip to Leeds castle in the rain with her chasing Ollie around the maze; we definitely earned our cream tea that day! I will remember all our times together with fondness, she is greatly missed xx
